Athens County’s Solid Ground School empowers children by fostering deep connections to the natural world, community, and self, creating changemakers ready to build a better world. Our full-time educational program serves students from PreK-grade 6.

Join us for a new enrollment open house in which families have a chance to view our classrooms and talk with our teachers and staff. This is a great way to take a peek and see whether Solid Ground School might be a good fit for your child and family. Children are welcome to join parents as they tour, but we do not have activities planned. Please park in the gravel lot near the greenhouse.
