Selecting a school is a significant and personal choice. At Solid Ground School, we approach this process with care, clarity, and kindness — offering each family a supportive and honest path as they explore our community.
We follow an emergent, place-based curriculum, which allows teachers to create meaningful learning experiences based on what students are interested in and what our local ecology and community have to offer.
The school is hosted by Solid Ground Farm (SGF) in the rolling hills of Athens County. The 62-acre homestead farm and education center models sustainable agriculture practices, environmental stewardship, and conscious management of natural resources through participation with nature.
