Welcome to our admissions process — we’re so glad you’re here.
Choosing a school is a meaningful decision. At Solid Ground School, we honor this process by creating a welcoming, transparent, and thoughtful experience for every family exploring our community. Take the next step here.
We believe childhood is precious. Our school is rooted in nature-based learning, play as powerful work, and social-emotional development as foundational to lifelong learning. If you value creativity, connection, community, and curiosity — you’re in the right place.
Applications submitted after the deadline are reviewed on a rolling basis.
We are reviewing applications and will make enrollment decisions during the month of May based on applications submitted before the deadline. Any applications for SY2025-2026 submitted after April 22 will be considered on a rolling basis if any there are any remaining spots available.
We approach enrollment with the same care and intention we bring to our classrooms. Our process is designed to give families time and space to get to know us — and for us to get to know you.
Submit an application for your child to be considered for the upcoming school year.
📌 Families interested in the 2025–2026 school year should apply before our priority deadline of April 22, 2025.
🌱 Interested in a Future Year?
Our applications are year-specific: if your child is not yet eligible or you're thinking ahead to a future school year, we recommend that you fill out our Interest Form instead of submitting an application. Children grow and change so much in just one year — we’ve found that up-to-date applications give us a clearer picture of developmental readiness and family fit.
If space is available in your child’s class, you’ll be invited to schedule a tour with our Director. Tours are an opportunity to visit our space, ask questions, and explore whether Solid Ground is the right fit for your child and family. An application fee of $60 is only requested when a tour is scheduled.
As part of your application, we’ll ask for income verification to help us determine tuition on a sliding scale. We are committed to equity and accessibility and use a values-based approach to tuition.
Applications received by the April 22 deadline will be considered in our first round of decisions, with notifications sent in mid-May. Applications submitted after the deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis, as space allows.
